TUESDAY, APRIL 22

Ship Arrivals Watch Party

7 a.m.

Join us at the NSU Guy Harvey Oceanographic Center, 8000 N. Ocean Dr. in Dania Beach, as we celebrate the arrival of the Navy ships at Port Everglades. You'll have the best seats (bring a lawn chair) in South Florida as the ships arrive between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. FREE.

Welcome Ceremony and Press Conference

11 a.m.

Broward County, Port Everglades, and the City of Fort Lauderdale will formally welcome the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard to South Florida at this press conference in the terminal, following the arrival of the ships. Miami Marlins vs. Cincinnati Reds

6:40 p.m.

The Miami Marlins welcome our heroes in uniform tonight. Navy Band Southeast will perform and the military in attendance will be honored throughout the game at loanDepot Park in Miami. If you can't attend, be sure to tune in for local television coverage..

Community Service Projects and School Visits

8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Teams from the visiting ships will participate in community projects and visit local schools.

Group Ship Tours

9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Group tours of the visiting Navy and Coast Guard ships for school and community groups. All group tours are now full.

Take a Hero Golfing

11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Our annual golf tournament gets a flashy upgrade at Topgolf in Pompano Beach. Playing opportunities are still available, if you'd like to join in the fun.

"The Sailors Life" Experience

11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Community leaders get a firsthand look at the life of a Sailor onboard ship, including lunch in the crew mess. By invitation only.

Rotary Club Luncheon

A visiting flag officer or ship captain will provide the keynote address at the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale's weekly luncheon meeting. By invitation only.

Dignitaries and community leaders from across Broward County will welcome the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard to South Florida. Guests will be treated to a scrimmage at the IcePlex by the Panthers Warriors and Fort Lauderdale Police/Fire hockey teams. By invitation only.

Downtown Council Breakfast

7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.

By invitation only, Local employers of National Guard and Reserves servicemembers are recognized at this annual event at Lauderdale Yacht Club.

JROTC STEM Summit

9 am - 1 pm

We will welcome 500 JROTC cadets from Broward Schools for an opportunity to tour the ships, participate in demonstrations by local tech companies, and learn about technology careers in the Navy.

SATURDAY, APRIL 26

Sunrise Yoga

7 a.m. - 8 a.m.

Yoga instructor Lisa Pumper from Fort Lauderdale Beach Yoga will lead a class for visiting military and local enthusiasts from the flight deck and all will experience the sun rise over Port Everglades.

Top Gun Olympics

8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Teams from each of the visiting ships will face off against teams of local first responders, veterans, and JROTC cadets in tug-of-war and other athletic competitions at the Weston YMCA.

YMCA Family Fun Day

April is fitness month at the YMCA, and visiting military will be joining families for this fun day of games and activities at the Weston YMCA.

Salute to Veterans

.Our visiting Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen will recognize the men and women who served in uniform before them during this ceremony held at Port Everglades. Tours of the ships will be available following the ceremony. Advance registration required.

We're celebrating the 250th birthday of the Navy and Marine Corps at Hollywood Arts Parks on Young Circle with a free public concert. Veterans and the public are invited to join the visiting Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen for this festive Fleet Week event.

Fleet Week 5K

7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.

Promote physical fitness and honor the troops at this patriotic race along scenic Hollywood Beach. Performances by the Navy Band, a color guard, and other special surprises await competitors and spectators, alike. Click here to sign up.

Interfaith Service

10 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Religious leaders from many different denominations and faiths will lead an ecumenical service for participating military and local congregations at Port Everglades.

Navy STEM Heroes: Science Adventures with Sailors

12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Join the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) for an action-packed STEM adventure. Guests can enjoy a FREE IMAX® screening of The Blue Angels, featuring breathtaking, never-before-seen footage of the Navy’s elite Flight Demonstration Squadron. Included with Museum admission and free for military-affiliated personnel with valid ID. Tickets at mods.org/navystemday

Everglades Adventure

2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

.A group of Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen will experience the Everglades on exciting airboat rides through the sawgrass and then get up close and personal with alligators at Everglades Holiday Park.

Salute to the Military Picnic

5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

.Visiting Sailors, Marines, and Coasties will enjoy the hospitality of the Wilton Manors community at Richardson Park with a buffet dinner, entertainment, and recreational activities.

Local boat owners host Sailors and Coasties for an exciting day of deep sea fishing, followed by a BBQ at the marina.

Galley Wars

4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Teams of culinary specialists from each of the visiting ships will face off in cooking challenges at Arc Broward, assisted by students from Arc's culinary program. "Iron Chef" meets "Chopped" in this kitchen battle. By invitation only.

Game Night at Xtreme Action Park

6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

The visiting Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen are being treated to an evening of fun at Xtreme Action Park, including video games, laser tag, ropes course, trampolining, go-karting, bowling, and skating. The public is encouraged to attend.

Damage Control Olympics

8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Damage control teams from the visiting ships will compete in a series of simulations at the world-class Resolve Maritime Academy facility at Port Everglades.

Fleet Week Aviation Day

9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Students and JROTC Cadets from Broward County Schools will learn about aviation careers in the Navy and Marine Corps, and see working military aircraft up close at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.

Naturalization Ceremony

10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

New American citizens will be sworn in at this ceremony onboard one of the visiting Navy ships.
